Refund and cancellation policy

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid for professional engagements with DataSys Infra (reviews, assessments, cadence design, briefings) as described in an accepted engagement letter.

Cooling-off and timeframe

If you cancel in writing before scheduled intake work begins, prepaid fees are refunded in full within fourteen (14) business days. After intake materials have been received and reviewed, refunds become partial as described below.

Full refund

A full refund is available when we cancel an engagement for reasons attributable to DataSys Infra (for example, inability to staff the agreed window) and no substitute date is mutually accepted.

Partial refund

If you cancel after intake has started but before the delivery workshop or closing briefing, we retain a portion reflecting work already performed — typically the deposit or documented hours at the engagement rate, whichever is stated in the letter — and refund the remainder within fourteen business days.

Non-refundable items

Non-refundable once incurred: prepaid third-party meeting rooms booked at your request, non-cancellable travel purchased with your written approval, and completed health briefings already delivered.

Work already started

Annotated packs, draft pattern catalogues, and similar interim materials produced before cancellation remain our working papers unless the letter assigns them to you upon payment of fees for that stage.

Deposits

Engagements usually require a deposit (commonly 30–50% as stated in the letter) to reserve dates. The deposit is applied to the final fee. It is refundable only under the full-refund or pre-intake rules above.

Rescheduling and no-shows

You may reschedule facilitated sessions once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes or client no-shows for booked workshops may forfeit the session fee for that day while the overall engagement continues.

Cancellation by either party

Either party may cancel for material breach after written notice and a reasonable cure period stated in the engagement letter. Fees for completed stages remain payable.

Refund process and method

Email contact@datasysinfra.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible, otherwise by bank transfer to an account you nominate. Processing typically completes within fourteen business days after approval.
